Great product, reduces editing time

The AI picks out the best part of the clips. Saves me tons of time editing. I never would've done YT shorts if I didn't have this product. Customer support is quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Sometimes the subtitles are wrong and I have to retype things. Annoying but I still use Munch.

Magic Hour takes a thoughtful approach

At first, I was skeptical. There have been dozens of AI video apps launched this year and they all do the same text-to-video generation. What was different here was the UX. Magic Hour takes a thoughtful approach to giving you a toolset, and then making it easy for you to take baby steps towards using them. For non-AI techies, this is a godsend.

Works well, sometimes repetitive

It quickly and easily creates clips of my videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The clips it produces are sometimes using the same section of video.

Great tool and it's only going to get better

I like using Munch because it creates many clips that we can use to promote podcasts on social media. The tool gets better with new features added frequently. I even spoke to the CTO once about a bug with one of the files. It feels like they care a lot about customers and the future. We often use auto highlight in subtitles, and I like this feature. No tool is ideal, and you have to choose what works better for you, but Munch makes content repurposing much easier and quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I know AI is not ideal because most of our content is about conversational AI and customer experience, but sometimes clips are not very relevant or start at a random time that doesn't make sense without the context. Also, Munch can be a bit slow, and it took me a while to figure out the cropping feature. It would be nice to add timings to subtitles manually. Also, I'd love to be able to drag and change the size of subtitles rather than choosing pre-defined font size.

I would need 1000 points to make a face swap video

It said I would need 1000 points to make a face swap video. I purchased 1000 points uploaded my pic and hit button to make the video. It said I needed 1001 points to make the video. I purchased another 1000 points because that’s the smallest amount you offer. Reset everything and it told I need 2001 points to make the video. It was then I realized I could adjust the time to change the number of points due. Your website doesn’t make that clear. That is so deceptive. It’s a cheap trick to make you rich. Stop trying to rip off your customers.
