The ever growing paywallThis website once had a great community and was a very easy way for people to delve into creating with AI voices, but through several changes, feature removals, and paywall became something more suited for those who wish to use AI professionally and are willing to pay for it. It went from the removal of the community tab, to limiting YouTube conversions, to limiting conversions in general with minutes, and then the worst of it came when they made download minutes something you had to pay for, making the free tier effectively useless. Then soon after they shut down their discord presumably due to the negative backlash they received throughout those changes. The current state of Kits.ai is very disappointing. The service itself is decent, but much less accessible than before and not worth it from the perspective of someone who's used it since its early days. Bonzi Buddy 2 |
